2023-05-30This is the first car charger which truly supports PD3.1 protocol. Here is my in depth review of the product:
The unit is safely packed in a nice small box with a small window which shows what you get. I have tested all the outputs and confirm they deliver the output as per the description. The charger looks solidly built. Its weight give you confidence for a powerful device which it is. The connection to the 12V socket is very stable, it does not feel like the charger would pop out or overheat due to bad contact. There is a very discreet white led light ring around the ports which is visible only during nights. This is quite helpful when you want to connect your cable in a dark place of your car which is my case. Connecting cables to the ports is easy and they look tight enough to prevent accidental cable disconnect.
I have tested two modes:
1. MacBook Pro 16" 2021 - Charging works as expected when using the standard USB-C to Magsafe cable. 140W PD3.1 is correctly triggered. Charger gets a little warm after a while but continues to deliver.
2. MacBook Pro 16" 2021 + Xiaomi Mi 13 + iPad Pro 2020. The Mac is switched to 100W PD3.0 charging as soon as you connect a second device. Xiaomi manages to trigger PPS on USB-C2 and is able to pull about 30W. The maximum total output I achieved in this mode was 100W + 30W + 18W = 148W. Due to my devices limitation I could not achieve the total 165W but everything was successfully powered without any issue. The MacBook did not show any issue while powered at 100W.
So far I would recommend this charger to people who are happy to pay a little extra for not making any compromises with their tech.
I will update this review after some time in order to comment on its durability or in case I come upon any problems.

1) Can this car charger deliver 15V/3A or 20V/5A if plugged into a 12V/10A socket? Can the car charger increase the voltage over the input voltage?
2) Why is there no PPS ? Is PPS not available for PD3.1 ?
1) The car charger can deliver all the described output voltages when connected to 12V input. That includes the mentioned 15V/3A and 20V/5A as well as 28V/5A when device which supports PD3.1 is connected. Please note that if you would like to achieve the max output of 165W your input must be capable of delivering 12V/15A (180W). If your input is rated only for 10A you could get your cigarette lighter fuse burned out or even problems for your electrical system if you use our charger at its full potential.
2) The car charger supports PPS on its USB-C1 port. The maximum supported PPS output is 105W (21V/5A). PPS is an extension of the PD3.0 protocol. Our car charger is made backwards compatible with PD3.0 and PPS.
